WhatsApp

Use WhatsApp to add a floating or positioned WhatsApp contact button to a page. It is a singular page-level component, so it is enabled once rather than duplicated throughout the layout.

How It Works In Atomicat

The drawer uses Apply WhatsApp Button to enable the component. Settings include phone number, default message, button shape, optional text label when shape is text, button position, new-tab behavior, and Facebook pixel click settings. Shape options include circular, square, and text. Position options include right, middle, and left.

When To Use It

  • Let visitors start a WhatsApp conversation from a sales or support page.
  • Use a prefilled message so the team knows which campaign the lead came from.
  • Add a mobile-friendly contact path alongside Form or Button CTAs.
  • Track WhatsApp clicks as a conversion event when your campaign depends on chat starts.

Configure The Element

  • Enable Apply WhatsApp Button.
  • Enter the phone number in the format expected by your market and WhatsApp routing.
  • Write a short default message that identifies the offer or page.
  • Choose circular, square, or text shape; add chat text when using the text shape.
  • Set position and new-tab behavior, then configure pixel click tracking if needed.

Testing Notes

  • Click the WhatsApp button on desktop and mobile.
  • Confirm the prefilled message opens correctly.
  • Use the ad platform tester if a click pixel is attached.

Limitations And Tips

  • WhatsApp availability depends on the visitor's device, app, and browser behavior.
  • Do not cover Cookie notices, form submit buttons, or other floating controls.
  • Keep the prefilled message natural; very long messages can discourage visitors from sending.
