Advanced Text

Use Advanced Text when a section needs a structured headline rather than one plain text block. In Atomicat 3.0 it is a dedicated element for a title, optional subtitle, optional description, decorative shadow text, separators, and title borders.

How It Works In Atomicat

The content drawer separates the element into title, subtitle, description, shadow text, and separator panels. The title can have a URL and its own HTML tag. Subtitle and description can be enabled independently, and the title can float left with a responsive width when you want editorial or split-heading layouts.

When To Use It

  • Build hero or section headers with a headline, eyebrow subtitle, and supporting copy in one element.
  • Add a decorative shadow word behind a title without placing extra text layers on the canvas.
  • Use title or subtitle borders when a design needs a visual rule attached to the heading.
  • Keep a section header together so duplicated blocks stay consistent.

Configure The Element

  • Enter the heading title, then choose the title HTML tag such as h2, h3, div, or span based on page hierarchy.
  • Add a title link only when the heading itself should be clickable; otherwise use a Button for the action.
  • Enable Subtitle and choose whether it appears before or after the title.
  • Enable Description for supporting copy and set its maximum width for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Enable Shadow Text or Separator only when they support the visual hierarchy.

Testing Notes

  • Preview mobile after enabling float-left title layouts because long words can crowd the description.
  • Check heading order with nearby H1/H2/H3 elements so the page remains readable for search engines and screen readers.
  • Click any linked title in preview and on the published URL.

Limitations And Tips

  • Advanced Text is not a replacement for every paragraph; use Text for simple copy.
  • Decorative shadow text should not carry important information because it may be read poorly or hidden visually.
  • Avoid nesting several Advanced Text blocks when one clear heading and one paragraph would be easier to maintain.

FAQ

Can Advanced Text be used as an H1?

Yes, the title tag can be set from the drawer, but use only one H1-style page headline on a landing page.

Why is my subtitle not visible?

Confirm Show Subtitle is enabled, then check subtitle color, position, and any responsive visibility settings.

Should I link the title or add a button?

Use a linked title for small navigation patterns; use a Button when the click is the main conversion action.
