Countdown
Use Countdown to display a real deadline or an evergreen session timer. It is best for launches, events, bonus windows, cart deadlines, or limited-time offers.
How It Works In Atomicatβ
The drawer supports two countdown types: Due Date and Evergreen Timer. Due Date uses a date and time value. Evergreen Timer stores hours and minutes, starting from a duration such as 00:15. You can show or hide Days, Hours, Minutes, and Seconds independently, rename their labels, choose whether labels appear above or below values, hide labels entirely, and show a separator with dotted or solid styles.
When To Use Itβ
- Show a launch deadline or webinar start time with Due Date.
- Create a session-based bonus timer with Evergreen Timer.
- Highlight an offer window near a Button, Product, or Form section.
- Add urgency to a quiz result or checkout pre-sell page when the timer is truthful.
Configure The Elementβ
- Choose Due Date for a fixed calendar deadline or Evergreen Timer for a visitor/session duration.
- Set date/time or hours/minutes before styling.
- Decide which units to show; short offers may only need minutes and seconds.
- Rename unit labels if your campaign language requires it.
- Enable separators only when they improve readability.
Testing Notesβ
- Preview after saving and wait long enough to confirm the numbers decrease correctly.
- Test the published page in a fresh session for evergreen behavior.
- Check mobile spacing when all four units are visible.
Limitations And Tipsβ
- Do not use fake reset timers unless your legal and advertising policy allows the exact behavior.
- Due Date behavior depends on date/time configuration, so review timezone expectations for the campaign.
- Hide labels only when the visual meaning remains obvious.
