Star Rating

Use Star Rating to display a rating label and numeric star value, or to trigger a follow-up action after a rating interaction.

How It Works In Atomicat

The drawer includes label text, star scale, rating value, and an On Complete click event. Scale options can resolve to either 5 or 10 stars. Rating accepts decimal values with step 0.1 and is limited by the selected max. The click event control lets the rating interaction trigger supported actions such as links, modal behavior, hidden item reveals, or other configured click events.

When To Use It

  • Show product or service rating proof near testimonials or product sections.
  • Collect a simple rating interaction before revealing a next step.
  • Display 5-star or 10-star scales depending on the campaign format.
  • Pair rating proof with Comment, Selling Point, or Product content.

Configure The Element

  • Write label text that explains what the rating represents.
  • Choose a 5-star or 10-star scale.
  • Enter a rating value within the selected scale; decimals are supported.
  • Configure On Complete only when clicking the rating should do something.
  • Style filled and empty star colors for contrast.

Testing Notes

  • Preview the rating after changing scale; values above the new max are adjusted.
  • Click the rating and verify any On Complete action.
  • Check mobile tap behavior if the rating is interactive.

Limitations And Tips

  • Star Rating should be backed by real proof when used as a review claim.
  • Do not imply a visitor-submitted review system unless the page actually collects and stores ratings.
  • If the rating is only decorative, avoid attaching a click action.
