Cookie
Use Cookie to add a page-level cookie notice with acceptance controls. It is a singular element in Atomicat, meaning it is applied once to the page rather than placed repeatedly in the normal flow.
How It Works In Atomicatβ
The drawer uses applyCookie to enable or disable the cookie component. When enabled, it exposes a non-European standard toggle, editable notice content, accept button text, and, when the non-European option is not active, reject button text. The default message explains that cookies are used to improve website experience.
When To Use Itβ
- Show a consent notice on landing pages that use tracking, analytics, or advertising pixels.
- Localize cookie copy and button labels for the campaign language.
- Use a simpler notice for non-European traffic when your legal guidance allows it.
- Keep the cookie banner separate from marketing copy so compliance text is easy to find.
Configure The Elementβ
- Turn on Apply Cookie for the page.
- Choose whether Non-Euro Standard applies based on your market and legal guidance.
- Edit the cookie message in plain, visitor-facing language.
- Set Accept and, when shown, Reject button labels.
- Style placement, spacing, and colors so the banner is readable but does not hide the primary CTA.
Testing Notesβ
- Open the page in a fresh browser session to verify the banner appears.
- Click accept and reject states where available.
- Check mobile layout so the banner does not cover form submit buttons or WhatsApp controls.
Limitations And Tipsβ
- Cookie compliance depends on your legal requirements; Atomicat provides controls but not legal advice.
- The non-European option can remove the reject label path in the drawer, so verify it matches your policy.
- Use one cookie notice per page; repeated notices confuse visitors.
