Connect a domain and publish

Use this playbook when your page is ready and you want visitors to open it on a real domain.

Checklist

  1. Create or choose the site that will receive the domain.
  2. Connect the domain in Atomicat.
  3. Add the required DNS records at your domain provider.
  4. Wait for DNS and SSL to become ready.
  5. Publish the page to the correct site and page address.
  6. Open the live page in a private browser window.
  7. Test buttons, forms, pixels, and mobile layout.
  8. Update ad links, email links, and menu links to use the final page address.

Launch tip

Do not change page addresses after sending traffic unless you also update every ad, email, button, and partner link that points to the old address.

FAQ

What should I check before connecting a domain?

Confirm the site exists in Atomicat, you control the domain DNS, and you know which page address should become the final live URL.

How long can DNS or SSL take?

DNS and SSL can take time after records are added. If the domain does not work immediately, recheck the required records and wait for propagation before changing unrelated settings.

What should I test after publishing?

Open the final URL in a private browser window, test desktop and mobile layout, submit forms, click buttons, confirm tracking, and verify that all campaign links use the final domain.

Should I change the page URL after launch?

Avoid changing the URL after ads, email links, or partner links are live. If the URL must change, update every external link and consider whether a redirect is needed.
