Assign Pages to Projects
Projects help keep related campaign assets together. In Atomicat, pages can be assigned one at a time or in bulk from the page list, and project filters can change which pages are visible.
Assign pages to projects when you manage multiple brands, clients, funnels, products, or campaigns inside the same Atomicat account.
Why assign pages to projects
Project assignment helps you:
- Keep campaign pages grouped with related assets
- Reduce confusion in large accounts
- Filter work by client, brand, product, or funnel
- Coordinate page work with sites, products, videos, chats, and other modules
- Avoid publishing or editing the wrong campaign asset
Assign one page to a project
- Open the page list for the relevant site or pages area.
- Find the page.
- Open the page actions menu.
- Select Assign to Project.
- Choose the target project.
- Confirm the assignment.
Atomicat shows the current project when a page already has one. You can also choose the no-project/all-projects option when you need to remove a page from a project grouping.
Assign pages in bulk
Atomicat also supports assigning selected pages in bulk from the page list toolbar.
- Select the pages in the page list.
- Choose Assign to Project from the bulk actions.
- Select the project.
- Confirm the update.
Bulk assignment is useful when importing, cloning, or organizing many pages after a campaign setup. After a successful bulk assignment, refresh the list or change the project filter if the selection still appears stale.
What can and cannot be assigned
The shared assignment modal supports multiple asset types, including sites, funnels, quizzes, pages, and videos. From the page list, the single and bulk actions pass itemType="pages", which updates the page's project ID.
Some page list filters exclude items that should not be changed in bulk, such as synced pages. If a page is missing from the bulk selection or action, check whether it is a variant, synced page, deleted page, quiz page, or producer page.
Project-filtered page lists
When a project is selected in Atomicat, the page list can show:
- Pages assigned to the selected project.
- Pages published to the current site context.
This means a page can appear in a selected project view because it belongs to the project or because it is published in the site context you are viewing. Always open the assignment modal if you need to confirm the saved project ID.
Project assignment during creation
When a project is already selected, new pages and clone workflows can save the selected project ID on the created page. This keeps blank pages, cloned pages, and imported pages grouped with the current campaign.
This keeps new campaign assets in the same workspace without requiring manual cleanup later.
Troubleshooting
- If Assign to Project says no pages are selected, select at least one visible page first.
- If a page does not appear in the current project view, clear the project filter or open All Projects.
- If you cannot bulk edit a page, check whether it is synced or tied to another special state.
- If assignment succeeds but the list still looks stale, refresh the page list or change the project filter and return.
Best practices
- Create projects before building large campaigns.
- Assign pages as soon as they are created.
- Use one project per client, brand, major funnel, or campaign group.
- Review project assignment before bulk publishing or deleting pages.
- Keep shared or test pages clearly named if they are not assigned to a project.
Frequently asked questions
Can I assign multiple pages at once?
Yes. Select multiple pages and use the bulk project assignment action.
Does assigning a page publish it?
No. Project assignment only organizes the page. Publishing is a separate action.
Why does a page appear in a selected project view?
The page may be assigned to that project or may be published to the current site context being viewed.
Can I change a page's project later?
Yes. Use the assignment action again and choose the correct project.
Can I remove a page from a project?
Yes, when the assignment modal offers the no-project or All Projects option, select it and confirm to clear the page's project ID.
Are quiz pages assigned the same way?
Quiz list views use the same assignment modal with a quiz item type. The regular page list filters quiz pages out of the page assignment flow.
