Create a funnel

Use Create Funnel from the AtomicFunnel list to group pages from one site into a measurable journey. After creation, Atomicat opens the funnel editor so you can connect the steps.

Before you start

  • You need a site in the current workspace.
  • The site should have the domain you plan to send visitors to.
  • You need at least two pages on that site.
  • Pages should be published before the funnel is saved and used for traffic.
  • Pages already used in another funnel can be unavailable or produce warnings, because funnel analytics is cleaner when each page belongs to one journey.
  • If a project is selected, the funnel is created under that project context.

Steps

  1. Click Create Funnel.
  2. Enter a Funnel name.
  3. Choose the Site.
  4. Under Pages, select two or more pages from that site.
  5. Confirm to create.
  6. In the funnel editor, connect the cards in the order visitors should follow.
  7. Save the funnel.

New funnels start as page cards without arrows. The funnel is not a reliable journey until you draw the connections and save.

Projects

When a project is active in the app, Atomicat stores the new funnel with that project ID. Project filtering then limits funnel and asset views to the selected project, which helps keep client, brand, or campaign work separated.

Validation

  • Missing name, site, or pages can trigger a fill-all-fields message.
  • Selecting fewer than two pages can trigger the "at least two pages" validation.
  • Funnel connections are validated later in the editor: one outgoing connection per page, one incoming connection per page, no loops, and no disconnected cards.
  • Saving can fail if pages are not published.

After creation

You are taken straight to the funnel editor. Add connections between cards, then save. If you need to extend the funnel later, use Add page inside the editor and stay within the current funnel limits.

Checklist before sending traffic

  • Every funnel step is published.
  • The first page is the URL you will send traffic to.
  • Each card connects to the next intended card.
  • No card is disconnected.
  • Buttons, forms, quizzes, products, and redirects still work on the live pages.
  • Date filters in analytics are set to the right launch period.

Frequently asked questions

Why is my page missing from the list?

It is almost always because the page is already used in a different funnel. Remove it from the other funnel first, or pick a different page.

Can I start with zero pages and add them later?

You must pick at least two pages at creation time in the current workflow.

Does creating the funnel publish my pages?

No. Funnel creation organizes pages for a journey and analytics. Publishing each page is still a separate page action.

Can I mix pages from different sites?

The creation and editor workflows are site-based. Use pages from the selected site so domains, paths, and analytics stay consistent.
